KPX 20+ vs KPX 40: which polyurea machine?

A direct, spec-based comparison of PUSMAK's two main polyurea machines: output, heating, hose length and when to choose each.

Published 2 min readTrusted Line technical team

The KPX 20+ and KPX 40 are PUSMAK's hydraulic machines for polyurea coating and spray foam, and they have a lot in common. The real differences are output, heating and hose length.

What they share

  • Hydraulic pumping, 200 bar maximum pressure
  • Polyurea and foam
  • Error detection, instant pressure-imbalance control and error history
  • Automatic phase sequencing and phase indicators
  • Almost identical footprint

Choose the KPX 20+ when

  • Your waterproofing and coating projects are medium-sized
  • 90 m of hose is enough
  • You want ECO mode to reduce preheater power consumption

Choose the KPX 40 when

  • Projects are large or daily use is heavy: roughly 1.8× the flow
  • Sites need up to 105 m of hose
  • Materials need more heat

A practical tip

If most of your work is medium-sized with occasional large projects, work out how many days the KPX 40 would save on those projects. If the distance from machine to roof regularly exceeds 90 m, the KPX 40 is the choice.
