A spray machine shapes your crew's productivity for years. Instead of starting with price, start with these five questions.
1. What material will you spray?
- Foam only: foam machines such as the KPX 20 and KPX 50.
- Polyurea, or both: the KPX 10+, KPX 20+ or KPX 40.
- Materials with ratios other than 1:1 (PIR / CONIPUR): the PURMIX.
2. What power is available on site?
| Power | Option |
|---|---|
| 220 V single-phase | EP 10 |
| 380 V three-phase | KPX models and PURMIX |
| No three-phase power | GENSET with integrated generator |
3. How much output do you need?
Maximum flow across the PUSMAK range:
| Machine | Maximum flow |
|---|---|
| EP 10 | 4.5 kg/min |
| KPX 10+ / KPX 20+ | 5.6 kg/min |
| KPX 10 / KPX 20 | 5.8 kg/min |
| KPX 40 | 10.3 kg/min |
| KPX 50 / GENSET | 14.8 kg/min |
If your projects are large and recurring, a higher-output machine cuts working days.
4. How far is the machine from the spray area?
Maximum hose length: 33 m on the EP 10; 90 m on the KPX 10, KPX 10+, KPX 20 and KPX 20+; 105 m on the KPX 40, KPX 50 and PURMIX. More in the heated hose guide.
5. How much control do you need?
The KPX 10+ has a simple analog panel with manual phase-sequence adjustment. The KPX 20+, KPX 40 and KPX 50 add error detection and history, instant pressure-imbalance control and automatic phase sequencing — which reduces downtime on big jobs.
Summary
| If your project is… | Start with |
|---|---|
| Small foam jobs on 220 V | EP 10 |
| Medium, regular foam work | KPX 20 |
| Large foam projects | KPX 50 |
| Polyurea and foam, medium projects | KPX 20+ |
| Polyurea, large projects | KPX 40 |
| A site without three-phase power | GENSET |
